Now that the weather has warmed up, he has started in-filling the balcony. So far everything out there is edible. (I've always thought of that kind of all-food gardening as very Italian, I'm not sure why.)
The lineup: cilantro (which hasn't sprouted yet), parsley, basil (which perked up once it was watered), chives (also not yet sprouted), and rosemary.
